Intimacy is a very important part of domination. There are plenty of fags and submissives who will always love the IDGAF approach to aftercare. They’ve been used, now their Master/Dom/Alpha pushes them away and stops caring completely. And sure, that works for them, makes them feel like more of an object.
However, I tend to think of it like a musical instrument. I play the Saxophone (to a very high, almost professional, standard) and when I’m done using it I clean it off, polish it and gently put it away.
Fags are very precious possessions. Good Alphas are responsible owners. They show a little love, give little bits of affection here and there. Not to control or manipulate (although it can be a useful tool) but because they have a sort of deep respect for a reliable and faithful piece of equipment.
